We've gathered some of the country's most talented comedy actors to present, starting from the premiere on September 13th, one of the funniest comedies of all time, marking a comeback for this delightful genre we haven't seen in Stockholm for many years. A forbidden love affair between Justice Minister Ragnar Rundqvist (Peter Dalle) and the confused party secretary Lena Stjernström (Sussie Eriksson) comes to an abrupt halt when they horrifyingly discover a dead body (Ola Forssmed) in the hotel room!
Afraid of revealing their scandalous indiscretion, they ask Ragnar's good-natured assistant Göran (Robert Gustafsson) for help.
This sets off a comedy carousel that spins faster and faster as Ragnar, Lena, and Göran desperately try to hide the body while fending off a persistent hotel manager (Per Svensson), a greedy waiter (Anders Jansson), a stubborn housekeeper, a love-starved nurse (Hanna Dorsin), plus a jealous husband (Henrik Johansson) and a betrayed wife (Anki Albertsson).
Award-winning comedy writer Ray Cooney revisits the hotel room from his classic farce "Out of Order" and creates an even more perfect setup for a laughter-filled crowd-pleaser with high-paced action full of comic characters, complex complications, and thrilling resolutions.
It's going to be a tangled comedy fest that was a critical and audience success in Kalmar in 2019, as our funniest actors now meet on the stage of Oscarsteatern, with translation and direction by hit-maker Edward af Sillén.
