Welcome to a joyful theatre experience where Astrid Lindgren’s most beloved character comes to life! Following the successes of The Brothers Lionheart and Emil of Lönneberga, we now invite the whole family to a delightful performance full of laughter, song, and dance in the whimsical world of Pippi Longstocking.
In this colorful stage production of Pippi Moves into Villa Villekulla, we follow the world’s strongest and most imaginative girl as she moves into her new home, Villa Villekulla. With her, she brings her monkey, Mr. Nilsson, her horse, Little Old Man, and of course, a suitcase full of gold coins.
Exciting escapades and wild adventures await as Pippi takes on the bumbling crooks Thunder-Karlsson and Bloom, while the local policemen, Kling and Klang, do their best to keep things in order – but do they succeed? Naturally, her friends Tommy and Annika are right by her side, and we also meet Miss Prysselius.
This production is a tribute to the 80th anniversary of Pippi Longstocking and promises a vibrant performance for the entire family. With a mix of humor, music, and thrilling adventures, it’s the perfect experience for all ages.
Pippi Moves into Villa Villekulla will be performed at the Liseberg Theatre in Gothenburg this fall.
