Season 2: Jan 23 – Mar 22, 2026
Martin Stokke Mathiesen returns in his acclaimed portrayal of Evan Hansen – a high school student caught in a life-changing web of misunderstandings while longing for acceptance.
Joining him are Clara Henry as Zoe Murphy, Emil Henrohn as Jared Kleinman, Peter Eggers, Kristina Lindgren, Frida Bergh, Alma Bengtsson, and a stellar ensemble of some of Sweden’s finest musical theatre performers, accompanied by a live orchestra.

Season 1: Jan 23 – Apr 12, 2025
The Swedish premiere featured Martin Stokke Mathiesen as Evan Hansen, with Clara Henry as Zoe Murphy and Joel Adolphson, known from I Just Want To Be Cool, as Jared Kleinman.
Beloved actress Sussie Eriksson and Peter Eggers also starred, alongside an accomplished ensemble and a live orchestra.

Synopsis
Evan Hansen struggles to find his place in high school. Living with social anxiety, he feels invisible.
When a classmate takes his own life, a misunderstanding leads the family to believe that their son and Evan were close friends. Evan chooses not to correct them—and instead sees a chance to finally fit in.
As he grows closer to the family, Evan delivers a heartfelt speech at a memorial service. When the speech goes viral on social media, Evan suddenly becomes somebody. But how long can you live a lie?
