About the show
Nothing could come between Jack and Rose – except Céline Dion.
What happens when Céline Dion hijacks one of the most iconic love stories in movie history and decides to tell us what really happened aboard the Titanic?
The answer is Titaníque – the acclaimed and utterly outrageous musical comedy that transforms Jack and Rose’s epic love story into a riotous musical extravaganza.
Set to Céline Dion’s greatest hits – including My Heart Will Go On, All By Myself, Because you loved me, It’s All Coming Back to Me Now and I’m Alive – Titanic comes back to life on stage. Except this time, Céline is at the helm, and reality has made way for something altogether more extravagant.
Musical theatre, showmanship and comedy collide at breakneck speed. Expect spectacular musical numbers, phenomenal voices, razor-sharp humour and a wealth of pop-culture references – all delivered with larger-than-life emotion by a cast that takes both the singing and the madness very seriously.
Since its New York premiere, Titaníque has grown from a cult favourite into an international audience sensation, going on to become a hit in London’s West End. The show has been praised for its outrageous humour, phenomenal vocal performances and irresistibly unhinged energy.
The Swedish production stars Edvin Törnblom as Jack and Alma Bengtsson as Rose, alongside Linda Ohlsson as Céline Dion. The cast also features Hanna Hedlund, Kim Sulocki, Anton Lundqvist, Martin Redhe Nord, Kayo Shekoni, Jessica Marberger, Simom Srandahl and Hanna Ulvan.
Directed by Edward af Sillén.
You don’t need to know Titanic by heart – or even be a Céline Dion fan – to come along for the ride. Expect an evening packed with nostalgia, timeless hits, emotions turned all the way up and a generous dose of irreverent musical-theatre joy.
Get ready for Titanic as you’ve never seen it before – more outrageous, more musical and a whole lot more Céline Dion.
