About the show
Masterful – the best farce ever staged.”
WHOSE WIVES ARE THEY ANYWAY? (By Michael Parker. Swedish production: Oss Swingers Emellan)
Farce is back in Stockholm! This autumn, one of the world’s most beloved farce comedies takes the stage at Intiman Theatre in Stockholm. After a completely sold-out summer season in Kalmar in 2025, audiences in the capital can now enjoy this fast-paced laugh-out-loud comedy.
Limited engagement – only 7 weeks at Intiman.
Colleagues Johan and David (Thomas Petersson and Måns Nathanaelson) plan a relaxing golf weekend after sending their wives away.
But when their new boss K.G. Sundholm (Hanna Hedlund) suddenly appears and insists on meeting the wives, lies, mistaken identities and desperate cover-ups begin to pile up.
The receptionist Tina (Clara Henry) is forced to pretend to be a wife, David must play Johan’s husband, and Johan’s ex has to play dead. When the hotel phone system crashes, the manager Mrs Karlén (Charlott Strandberg) starts hunting for extramarital affairs in the corridors, and the hypochondriac handyman Bengtsson (Victor Morell) only makes matters worse, the real wives Karin and Lotta (Anna-Karin Palmgren and Martina Sundén) suddenly arrive – and the farce explodes.
A high-energy comedy packed with misunderstandings, mistaken identities and rapid-fire humour.
