Chicago is an award-winning Broadway classic and the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Murder, fame, and show business collide in a sharp, entertaining satire. Set in 1920s Chicago, the story revolves around Roxie Hart (Ellen Lindblad), a woman with big dreams of life in the spotlight. When a love triangle ends in murder, she finds herself in the city’s notorious women’s prison, where she meets vaudeville star Velma Kelly (Hanna Lindblad) — as ambitious as she is dangerous. Soon, their fate turns into a media circus where popularity and headlines mean everything. With the help of the charismatic lawyer Billy Flynn (Peter Jöback), the courtroom becomes a stage and the truth a tool to be shaped as needed. Surrounding them are colorful characters such as the forgotten husband Amos (Ola Forssmed) and the formidable Mama Morton (Laila Adéle).
